The Meta boss covered the title “Get Low”, with rapper T-Pain, a song on which he met his wife in 2003.
“Shake that ass girl, shake it fast girl.” It was quite unexpected but the boss of Meta (Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp) Mark Zuckerberg has just released a cover of the rap title Get Lowsigned by the rap group Lil Jon & the East Side Boyz song, in 2003.
And if this “dirty rap” song (a style that combines sexual allusions) does not fit well with Mark Zuckerberg’s polite image, he decided to make an acoustic version on which he pushes the ditty (in autotune) alongside by rapper T-Pain.
Get Low was a hit in 2003, reaching number two on the Billboard Hot 100, although some versions were censored because the lyrics were full of vulgarities.
A “lyrical masterpiece” for Zuckerberg
Vulgarities that we therefore find in the mouth of Mark Zuckerberg, who thus wanted to pay tribute to his wife. “We were playing Get Low when I first met Priscilla at a student party, so every year we listen to it on our anniversary,” he wrote on Instagram.
“This year I worked with T-Pain on our own version of this lyrical masterpiece.”
He then published in his story the reaction of his wife who listened to the song for the first time. “It’s so romantic,” she laughs, noting that the one-day duo – T-Pain and Zuckerberg – had renamed themselves Z-Pain for the occasion.
For several months, Mark Zuckerberg has begun a major shift in communication, displaying a less austere image while his company has had a series of controversies.
Now with longer hair and designer clothes, Meta’s boss also multiplies the gifts for his wife, like this giant statue of him in the family garden.
