“This is the story of life / The eternal cycle…” Barely a few musical notes, and spectators of all generations recognize his voice. Schoolchildren or thirty-year-olds, all immerse themselves in the universe of “The Lion King”. This is the power that has been preserved, thirty years after the release of the Disney cartoon, the Franco-American singer Debbie Davis Known worldwide for having performed this hit from the film’s soundtrack, she performed in concert on Wednesday, November 13, in Panazol, near Limoges.
A few hours earlier, Debbie Davis went to a primary school in Panazol, to meet schoolchildren. From kindergarten to elementary school, all the students knew her. Dressed in “Lion King” masks, several of them even welcomed her with a music show. The singer was particularly touched: “This is the first time I’ve been in a place with children since I recorded this song. I am very moved, very happy and honored to be invited here!“

Accompanied by her dance company, the artist performed two shows on the Rok stage in the afternoon. The event was sold out. In all, nearly eight hundred people came to approach Debbie Davis.
