Céline continues her big comeback on stage by singing “I’m Alive” and “The Power of Love” during a fashion show in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Celine Dion continues her return to world stages. After her masterful performance at the Paris Olympic Games on July 26, the Quebec diva offered a surprise performance Wednesday at the Maison Elie Saab fashion show in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Present at the fashion show celebrating the 45th anniversary of the house of Lebanese designer Elie Saab in Riyadh, capital of Saudi Arabia, Céline offered an energetic performance of her song I’m Alive, oriental version, and the piece The Power of Love, during the glamorous event which was held as part of the Riyadh Season festival.

A little earlier, on the red carpet, the singer appeared, splendidly dressed in a fitted pink dress topped with large shoulder pads resembling chiffon flowers. She was on the arm of her eldest son, René-Charles.

Celine Dion admitted to a journalist that finding herself in Riyadh for the first time in her life is “a dream come true”, as was being able to meet and chat with the Lebanese designer, whose creations she wears on scene for years.

The American singer Jennifer Lopez also offered a performance during this chic event entitled “The 1001 seasons of Elie Saab”.

Appearances before a big comeback?

It was on February 24, 2024 that Celine Dion made her first professional outing by taking the stage to present an award to Taylor Swift during the Grammys.

Then, after the launch of the documentary recounting her fight against the stiff person syndrome from which she suffers, last June, Charlemagne’s diva increased the number of surprise appearances in the four corners of the globe.

Two months after the performance delivered in the Eiffel Tower on the occasion of the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games, she was notably seen in Las Vegas attending Adele’s concert, who burst into tears when she saw Celine Dion in the Colosseum room.

His highly publicized presence fueled persistent rumors of his return to the stage in Las Vegas, which would be scheduled for 2025.

Céline also appeared in a video shot for L’Oréal broadcast on September 23 and in a promotional clip before the Steelers-Cowboys game on NBC on October 6.
