L’Khouribga New Generation Code School (1337) organizes, until November 17, the Digital Art Khouribga (DAK). This new International Festival of Digital Arts is held on the theme “Natural environment, virtual environment”. For its first edition, the DAK entrusted to the CANcoop (the Digital Arts Cooperative) offers a rich and varied multidisciplinary program, bringing together resolutely contemporary artistic practices, all linked to the environment. This edition explores several fascinating aspects of the interaction between nature and technology, showing how technology can not only improve the understanding of nature, but also contribute to environmental protection and the promotion of sustainable strategies.
The DAK involves local and international artists, including young people fromÉcole 1337who come together for a week to create works that are just as creative and innovative as each other. It offers the population of Khouribga and its region the opportunity to discover one of the most important facets of contemporary art, through interactive and immersive artistic proposals.
Among the highlights of this event: two mapping projections on the facade of the Ferdous building and the Porte de la Liberté by L’byout with the works “Les Graines du temps” by Jamd Mouride and “Fōz machine” by Fred Chemama. It should be noted that these major productions are the result of the collaboration between Le 1337, Uzine Casablanca and Epson, technological partner of the DAK.
