Their love story did not last… In February 2024, viewers of L'amour est dans le pré discovered the portrait of Pascal, a 58-year-old sheep breeder based in Deux-Sèvres. During it, this former alcoholic assured that he was ready to meet the woman of his life. A few weeks ago, it was Murielle who came to visit him on his farm.
After some tension, the duo got closer and ended up offering each other a tender kiss. A gesture that viewers had difficulty understanding. “I didn't understand, two seconds ago she was annoying him, I blink, he kisses her“ ; “Pascal is afraid of ending up alone and keeps Muriel even though she is horrible most of the time. It’s sad…”we could notably read on X (formerly Twitter).
Muriel: “You have never once passed your hands under the tap”
If everything seemed to be going well in the best of all possible worlds, their relationship did not last. In the episode of L'amour est dans le pre-broadcast Monday November 18, 2024, already available on 6play, Murielle will in fact leave Pascal. “I told you that what mattered to me was that my house was clean and hygienic. At my mom's, we arrived on Saturday, we left on Sunday, and you never once put your hands under the tap! The least you can do is wipe your hands before sitting at the table…”she reproached him.
Finally, Murielle added in front of the sheep breeder: “Then, when we left here to go to Orléans, you fell asleep in the car, no communicationnothing, except to eat (…) There, for a few weeks I came, you came home a little earlier, then you resumed your habits”.
Pascal: “I said to myself, ‘That’s not going to do it!’”
Sunday October 13, 2024, in the columns of Télé Star, it was then that Murielle criticized many things about him that Pascal confided: “The first day was difficult. I had cleaned the house, put flowers in the vasesperfume in her room and she didn't like anything. When she started criticizing, I said to myself, 'That's not going to do it!' I didn't even think I would last two days.”.
Disappointed, he added: “I didn't recognize the woman I had met in Paris. I slowed down when she wanted to decide how I would work on the farm. I don't mind her changing the decoration of the house, but on the farm , I’m the one in charge!”. In order to put things straight, the duo then had a conversation. “Our conversation was intense, even off camera. I'm a patient guy, I avoided reacting as soon as he arrived. But she stood her ground: I had to live with it (…) When her friends told her that they no longer recognized her, she understood that she had gone too far. She apologized to me and to production.”he added.
