YouTuber Inoxtag announced the release of his first manga Instinct. A work which has the same title as another manga which could be released in 2025.
A manga that risks overshadowing. This Saturday, November 9, YouTuber Inoxtag unveiled his new project: the publication of his first manga, co-written with the designer Charles Compain.
“People keep asking me what my next project will be after Kaizenwell, it was before your eyes”, specifies the content creator in a video shared on Youtube. Some plates from the manga appear in his documentary event Kaizen: one year to climb Everest.
The work, entitled Instinct will be released this November 21. It follows “the story of Haki, a 19-year-old young man endowed with the ability to perceive the aura and intentions of the people around him,” specifies Webedia and Michel Lafon, the publisher, in a press release.
“It was my Everest”
And it’s already a success. The collector versions of Instinct are all already sold out. Only small pebble in this model: another eponymous manga could come out at the same time.
“Hi Inoxtag. My manga that I have been writing since 2013 and drawing since 2020 that I was planning to try to publish this year unfortunately has the same name as your manga”, laments Kai-Shin on X, ex Twitter, in response to the Inoxtag announcement.
“It was my Everest Inox,” continues the author. “I can’t believe the terrible coincidence. It had to happen to me.” The author also specifies that he has made the information public “for those who have no misunderstandings or unnecessary procedures” and “to avoid being stumbled upon by people who believe in plagiarism”.
A message, viewed more than 500,000 times, which did not fail to provoke a reaction on the platform. “Oh hell, good luck to you,” one user wrote. “It would be cool if it propelled you and gave you visibility,” adds another.
For its part, Inoxtag quickly responded to the author, promising to find a solution. “Hello my Bg! I’ll send you a message on Monday. With my team we will find a solution”, he assures on X.
Last September, the 22-year-old content creator released in theaters and on YouTube Kaizen: one year to climb Everesta documentary that traces his journey to reach the world’s highest peak.
The 2h26 film brought together 340,000 spectators in theaters and generated 37 million views. The documentary thus became the most viewed video in France in 24 hours. A success which earned him the congratulations from the boss of the platform.
