Rita Ora wore a hair dress to the MTV Europe Music Awards.

Rita Ora walked the red carpet at the 30th edition of the MTV Europe Music Awards on Sunday in Manchester, United Kingdom. For the 33-year-old artist, it was an opportunity to cause a sensation. The British singer of Kosovar origin wore a dress… made of synthetic hair! Fans of “The Addams Family” will see a reference to Cousin Machin’s obtrusive body hair. However, this is not the case. This creation is from a fall-winter 2024-2025 haute couture collection, presented on June 27 in Paris.

The design, named “Sculpted Clouds,” was created by Ashi Studio, run by 44-year-old Saudi fashion designer Mohammed Ashi. At the end of 2023, she was admitted as a guest member of the Fédération de la haute couture, a restricted circle to which Parisian brands that dress tailor-made customers belong.

In an interview with “Vogue Arabia” in 2017, the designer said: “The prices of our dresses range from $25,000 to $30,000, but we also have women who come with a blank check. They know what they want and will spend up to $150,000 to get it.”

Rita Ora was the host of the MTV Europe Music Awards, a role that involved several outfit changes. She notably wore a black pantsuit (see the image gallery below) to pay tribute to Liam Payne, member of the group One Direction, who died at the age of 31 on October 16 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
