This Monday, November 11, 2024, France will commemorate the end of the First World War. A public holiday that can be conducive to walking. To avoid finding yourself in front of a closed door, Paris news has listed the places open in the capital.
Cultural and sporting venues open in Paris
Many cultural sites will welcome the public this Monday, such as the Louvre, the Carnavalet museum, the 104, the Luxembourg museum, the Quai Branly museum and the Cinémathèque… On the other hand, the municipal museums will all be closed (modern art museum, Carnavalet museum, Bourdelle museum, Petit Palais, etc.).

For the more sporty, swimming pools should be open in the vast majority of cases, as well as tennis courts municipal. As for strollers, know that parks, gardens and cemeteries will have their gates open this Monday.
And for shopping enthusiasts?
For those who prefer to opt for shopping, the BHV, the Forum des halles, the Galeries Lafayette, among others, will be open.
