four finalists selected for the Entrepôt du Haillan song springboard

An unmissable event in the cultural season at L’Entrepôt, the Tremplin chanson returns this Friday, November 15. Four finalists out of 80 initial candidates will share the Haillanes stage under the eye of a jury made up of attentive and caring professionals. The winner will be chosen at the end of the evening.

Who are the four selected for this sixth edition? Luxie, multi-instrumentalist artist and producer, who “draws her inspiration from a mix of alternative and electronic pop”, says her presentation bio. Also in the running will be Checler, both guitarist, rapper and singer, Jansi whose universe navigates between slam and song, and the (only) duo Kokopeli, formed by Julie and Carla, two cousins embroidering dreamy pop, poetry and melancholy.

20 minutes for each artist

As is custom (and regulation), these emerging artists will have to offer personal compositions with texts in French. On the big day, everyone will have 20 minutes to convince. “A fairly substantial amount of time to play four to five pieces, to show a universe, an energy, and perhaps a fragility,” slips Manuel Corneau, director of programming. Before adding: “We try to offer them the most professional setting possible, with beautiful lights and quality sound. »

These singer-songwriters will be filmed the night of the concert and will receive a video of a song of their choice which they can use for promotional purposes. Another laudable attention, the L’Entrepôt team undertakes to program the winner for the following season. Winner of the 2023 edition, the artist Ondes will perform on Wednesday December 4 as part of Haillan Wednesdays. Live, live performance, nothing like it to arouse emotions and share with the public. At the price of 5 euros, the entrance fee really does not hinder curiosity. With a capacity of 450 people, the room has the capacity to accommodate people.
