The Festivals Coils of woman presents 15 films from November 14 to 17 at Lanloup (Côtes-d’Armor), in the multipurpose room.

This event highlights directors and their films, most of which have the specificity of being shot in film.

This is a festival for the curious and passionate about seventh art.

For this second edition, the festival presents 15 films around meetings with their directors, most of whom will be present throughout the festival. This year, alongside the screenings: cinema-concertperformance, expo photo…

Discussions with the directors

What makes up the DNA of Woman Reelsthese are the projections which are followed by meetings between the public and the filmmakers, accompanied by involved speakers.

Discussions of around twenty minutes are planned each time.

Among the 15 works programmed this year: 12 documentaries, 3 fictions, a film concert.

Connection, loss, transformation are the themes. Throughout the screenings, whatever the formats or aesthetic bias, spectators will be invited to immerse themselves in rich and contrasting experiences.

Jérôme Javelle and Anaïg Thomas, organizers.

The projections will evoke, in turn, the return to basics, cultural heritagedreams and fantasy, environmental awareness, influence and emancipation, wonder, disappearance, quest and solidarity, tradition and modernity…
