Cédric Grolet is a pastry chef but for his new creation, he dabbles in savory dishes. The chef has just presented his new sandwich to the public and on social networks.
« It’s the price of a dish at a restaurant, it’s serious », « 30 euros a sandwich, we’re walking on our heads! », « it’s downright theft », marks La Voix du Nord under the video of Carla Sofiya, a Parisian influencer who tasted the famous sandwich on TikTok. It’s a ham and butter sandwich with pickle and Comté and garnished with slices of truffles. You will have to pay 30 euros to treat yourself to this little filled bread. Once again, Internet users are scandalized by the price.

Even if the latter enjoyed her lunch “ really good ”, she herself concedes: “ it’s not worth the price because it’s 30 euros ».
What justifies this price of this buttered ham? The products “ d’exception » used according to Madame Figaro: in addition to Paris ham, the traditional butter and pickles, the baguette would be homemade with chestnut flour and there would also be Périgord truffle to spice things up a little more.

This is not the first time that the famous, multi-awarded pastry chef has found himself under fire from critics.
