The Score-pions association meets weekly to play games board games in Vitré (Ille-et-Vilaine).

It has had significant success: “We have recently been faced with a problem that all associations would like to have: the explosion of attendance of our weekly Thursday meeting (2 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. to midnight),” says Alexis, communications manager of the association.

“We are a plural association which brings together all the diversity of our society around the same passion,” he recalls.

The association will then leave the centre social for a larger location: “For good measure, we voted unanimously among the members of the board of directors to move: goodbye to the Vitré social center and hello to the Salle du Mée, at 89 boulevard des Rochers,” continues -he.

The arrival in this new location will make it possible to meet the demand of Vitréans who wish to join the association.

The move has taken place. The first session takes place at the Mée room on November 7. As a reminder, afternoon hours are 2 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. and evening hours 8:30 p.m. to midnight. The price is 2 euros for the day and 20 euros for the year.

New perspectives

The room will allow the association to continue to develop: “It is a new room three times larger than the previous one which can accommodate up to 70 players every week,” says Alexis.

This new room will allow the association to offer more unique and themed evenings.

“It is in particular thanks to the town hall and our partner store M. Dé who are supporting us in this change,” concludes the communications manager.
