A glass envelope on a wooden frame
“The specifications were to have a mini-crèche, a media library, a music school and offices coexist in one place. We proposed a building which is a sort of hall for living together, and above all “a building capable of “transforming over time according to needs and changes in uses”, describes architect Raphaël Betillon.
Designed with a wooden frame in a frame of 5 by 5 meters, this multi-service center has also been designed to withstand the mountain climate, thanks to a glass envelope which protects the wooden frame, folding windows, and motorized opening roofs which allow occupy the patios all year round.
Four other candidates are named in this category, the winners are expected on November 18, at station F in Paris.
