Accused of rape by his ex-wife, Nekfeu counterattacks

Following his ex-wife’s serious accusations against him, made public on Sunday November 3, 2024, Nekfeu was quick to defend himself. The next day, in a press release sent to AFP by his lawyer, the 34-year-old French rapper spoke of “an entirely false and defamatory press release” published on X by his ex-wife’s lawyer.

“These accusations have already been dismissed and come back at the very moment when she was arrested last night for the worrying disappearance of my 3-year-old son,” said Ken Samaras, his real name. For him, after a previous “financial blackmail”, it is an attempt “in desperation to sully (his) honor in public”.

Lawyer Florence Fekom had accused X Nekfeu of “psychological, sexual and physical violence” against her client “for nearly 4 years”, but also of “rape”. Nekfeu’s ex-wife is said to be going through “real hell” and suffering from “severe post-traumatic stress”.

She was placed in police custody by the 17th arrondissement police station on Sunday evening, for failure to represent a child between October 26, 2024 and November 3, 2024, as well as September 22, 2024. “This police custody has been lifted Monday at the end of the day, for continued investigations,” indicated the Prosecutor’s Office.

The Public Prosecutor’s Office further claimed to have closed three successive complaints from the ex-wife between September 2023 and May 2024 for rape, violence or harassment.

However, a procedure is still underway “for forgery and use of forgery since May 2024”, concerning “the certificates provided in previous procedures” by the rapper, according to the Public Prosecutor’s Office.

The Prosecutor’s Office also specified that Nekfeu has for his part initiated several proceedings against his ex-partner for non-representation of children between 2022 and 2024. If two have been closed, the ex-partner must be judged at the end of January for two others.

Nekfeu is one of the stars of the French rap scene, appreciated by the public for his art of flow, his taste for rich rhymes and his ease in the media.
