The 40-year-old comedian, whom the general public was able to discover in particular in LOL: whoever laughs, gets out! on Amazon Prime Video, notably returned to his very personal vision of money and luxury.

“You have a special relationship with money. For you, it doesn’t exist. I have seen you extremely generous.” thus directly proclaimed Mouloud Achour to his guest of the day. And Alban Ivanov, currently starring in the film Challenger – in which he plays Luka, a man who dreams of becoming a boxer and who sees his destiny change overnight – responds straight away: “Money doesn’t buy happiness. But I have happiness in giving it. It’s because I’m content with little.”
In the process, the actor seen in the films The Crossing, Inseparable or even The meaning of the celebration to say a little more about how he perceives money: “My father said a sentence to me one day: ‘From the moment you can have a coffee on the terrace, you’re free.’ So you can imagine that I am extra large. I can stay a day drinking coffee on the terrace, at today’s time you see!” On the other hand, he kept for himself the salary he earned for his films or shows.

Alban Ivanov then gave more details on his vision of happiness and financial ease, two subjects that he puts in total opposition. “I’ve never had a passion for equipment. Even when I want to spend money, I can’t really do it. For me, luxury is being able to eat with friends and not worry about it. question of ‘Who pays?'”he then explained.
Before letting go: “I already won, in truth. So today the money I make is used to give to people, to create projects. But in my daily life, I don’t see what more I can do (…) We’re big!”
