Despite his magnificent revival of the piece Living with the one you love by Francine Raymond, it is the Unicorn who was unmasked, Sunday evening, on the show Masked singers.
The latter, who was accompanied on stage by a circus artist, amazed the investigating judges with her well-felt vocal surges. And if some thought that Nathalie Simard was in the costume, Anouk Meunier was right.
It was the actress Debbie Lynch-White who presented herself in the romantic guise of the Unicorn throughout the competition. A suit made to measure for her.

“I loved learning, better and better, how to handle the costume. For me the unicorn was a character. From week to week, I developed an ease in playing with her. I understood better and better the way she moved and how to direct her so that she had this or that emotion. I put myself into actress mode. It was puppetry,” added the actress, laughing.
“The first time I put on the costume, I immediately knew it would be a challenge. The vision was really not good. It was particularly hot. I had hooves for hands and I could barely do anything. They were stuck on the dress and I couldn’t get them off. I was completely dependent on everyone. My nose was itchy, it was them who scratched me,” she confided.
