Flo Arnold, “Aile d’Elle”, mulberry paper on LED-sheathed brass frame, 140 x 90 cm, 2024.
Flo Arnold, with her work on natural materials and textures, invites the viewer on a tactile and meditative journey. His works play with strata and layers, revealing what is buried, what emerges. The material used, white water-repellent paper, suggests ephemerality and fragility, but also a form of evanescence highlighted by their apparent levitation. Flo Arnold’s sculptures thus float in spaces that open up to thought, spirituality, and inner journey.
Passage of time
“Crossings” is an encounter between two perspectives which complement and respond to each other, offering the visitor a journey rich in emotions and reflections. Through this exhibition, Arnold and Marboeuf raise the question of the ephemeral, the passage of time, and the imprint that each crossing leaves on our lives. The exhibition route invites you to wander, to an intimate and contemplative exploration. Between installation, sculpture and mixed media, the works of Flo Arnold and Claire Marboeuf are fragments of a journey, a journey that questions our relationship to space, matter and temporality.
