The day after her death, Lebanese journalist Faten Moussa mourned her ex-husband, the Egyptian artist Mustafa Fahmy, who died at dawn on Wednesday at the age of 82 after a long fight against illness.
Faten Moussa posted several photos of herself with the late artist on her Instagram account, expressing her great sadness and writing: “Mustafa… I never imagined that I would face this moment. Maybe I was still running from him…I. I am truly sorry for your passing. She described Fahmy as “a lover of life, a jovial athlete, young at heart and soul.”
She added: “The cursed illness betrayed you despite your steadfastness and strength…and you left very early. »
Faten also confirmed that she still had great love for him, saying, “You were and still are my true and only lover…the love of my life who never left me despite everything.” »
She recalled the happy moments she experienced with him, emphasizing that everything they experienced together for seven years could not be forgotten.
Feelings of sadness and anger
Musa continued to express her feelings, confirming that she had learned a lot from him, accusing those who separated them of seeking to separate them.
She added: “May God forgive everything that kept me from approaching you and kept you from approaching me during the three years that ended the day you left this world. »
