The opportunity to discover several old hits from the group, but also some new songs, interpreted and played by Mike Shinoda, the new singer Emily ArmstrongDave Farrell alias Phoenix, Joe Hahnthe guitarist Alex Feder and the drummer Colin Brittain.
And as good news never comes alone, Linkin Park revealed the name of the special guest who will perform the first part of this Parisian concert. And it is about Sleep Token ! So, what is this enigmatic group? We tell you more.
Group from London in Great Britain, Sleep Token is a true musical phenomenon across the Channel! Formed in 2016, the group consists of masked members whose identities remain unknown. However, the singer and leader calls himself Vessel. The other members are simply nicknamed II (drums), III (bass) and IV (guitar).
Offering a clever mix of post metal, post-rock, alternative metal and indie pop, Sleep Token released his very first EP “One“, in 2016, followed by “Two” in 2017. Today, the British group is at the head of three studio opuses. There are “Sundowning“, released in 2019, “This Place Will Become Your Tomb”published in 2021, and “Take Me Back to Eden” published in 2023. It includes the singles “ Chokehold », « The Summoning », « Granite« Aqua Regia » et « Spring ».
This November 3, 2024, Sleep Token will therefore take over the theater for the very first time Paris La Défense Arena as the opening act for Linkin Park. A godsend for this group which intends to reveal its captivating, dark and powerful universe live. We recall that Sleep Token will also be live at the LDLC Arena in Lyon-Décines on November 7.
