After a San Diego Comic Con full of announcements and a D23 which was just as rich, MCU fans had little to eat at New York Comic Con. This weekend, in the city that never sleeps, Kevin Feige and his teams nevertheless couldn’t help but reveal some details concerning the future of the franchise in cinema and on the small screen. In addition to comics and video game announcements, it is Daredevil : Born Again who offered a surprise conference during the panel dedicated to cosplay. On stage, Charlie Cox et Vincent D’Onofrio presented new images from the series eagerly awaited by fans of Netflix creation. If the images presented are once again reserved for event participants only, size information has been shared. The wait is almost over, the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen is on his way.
Indeed, with the agreement of the big boss of Marvel, the two actors were able to reveal the release date of the series Born Again. Until now, only the year 2025 had been mentioned. The appointment is thus made for March 4. This will undoubtedly be the first Marvel production of the year on Disney+, the platform wanting to end its year 2024 with Agatha All Along. Moreover, we know that 18 episodes are on the program. This is the first time that the Maison des Idées has embarked on a season of such magnitude, ABC productions such as Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D et Peggy Carter excepted. The series Daredevil : Born Again is made official in May 2022 with Chris Ord and Matt Corman as executive producers.
While filming is in full swing in 2023, the actors’ and writers’ strike offers Kevin Feige and his teams an opportunity to put things straight. The nine episodes filmed are not up to par expectations of the stable, the project starts from scratch. After escaping the rules of traditional television, Disney+ and Marvel Studios have no choice but to review their copy. The series will have a showrunner, it’s up to Dario Scardapane that the mission has been entrusted. The screenwriter is familiar with the heroes, it is to him that we owe the series The Punisher. Marvel has the good idea to recruit among the creatives who brought the universe of Defenders at Netflix, proof if any were needed of the importance it has for the American company.

The teams cultivate mystery, but Matt Murdock’s journey at Netflix will not be forgotten. Since the project’s announcement, Charlie Cox has often presented Born Again as the fourth season that never saw the light of day. He reprises his role, just like many of his collaborators such as Vincent D’Onofrio seen in Hawkeye then Echo as well as Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page) and Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson). John Bernthal will also be on the trip, the Punisher interpreter will return to collaborate with the masked vigilante. It will be about confronting Daredevil and his adversary again.
