audiences: Michèle Laroque’s comedy on 2 just ahead of Malik Bentalha’s on TF1

Two comedies in very different styles. This Sunday, October 20, it was the 2 film, “Parso on danse” which stood out. Directed by Michèle Laroque and starring Isabelle Nanty, Thierry Lhermitte and Patrick Timsit, the film attracted 3.24 million viewers, or 16.5% of the public watching television, according to Médiamétrie. This is more than the audience for “Kompromat” broadcast in the same slot a week earlier (3.01 million, 16.6% audience share or PDA). When Michèle Laroque’s feature film was released in cinemas, in 2021, it had accumulated just over 235,000 admissions.

TF 1 is just behind with “Jack Mimoun and the secrets of Val Verde” by and with Malik Bentalha. This adventure comedy also with an attractive cast – Joséphine Japy, Benoît Magimel, Jérôme Commandeur… – entertained 3.14 million people, or 17% of PDA, (The TF 1 film obtains a higher audience share than that of France 2, despite a lower number of viewers, thanks to its longer duration). This is much better than “the Joker” of October 13 (1.98 million, 11.2% PDA). When it was released in theaters in 2022, Malik Bentalha’s film garnered more than 650,000 admissions.

On M 6, tax fraud is not profitable

France 3 is third with the last new part of season 9 of “Brokenwood”. This episode of New Zealand fiction brought together 2.02 million followers (10.2% PDA). This is a little less than the previous week (2.15 million, 11% PDA).

M 6 is at the foot of the podium with a new number of “Forbidden Zone”. The magazine presented by Ophélie Meunier and devoted to tax fraud attracted 1.66 million curious people (9.1% PDA). A score up slightly compared to the last broadcast on October 6 (1.51 million, 8.2% PDA).

As for other channels, Arte performed well thanks to the film “Hugo Cabret” by Martin Scorsese. This brought together 1.13 million moviegoers, or 6% of the public.
