Lovers of boards, drawings and bubbles will find what they are looking for there, but also artists. This Saturday, “15 or 16 comic book artists for adults and six for children are offering signings,” explains Olivier Laroche.

Among them, Karensac is sitting at a table. “This bookstore allows me to meet other colleagues. For example today, there are people who are in the same publishing house as me and whom I did not know,” she explains. A child sits in front of the table with, under her arm, the latest book drawn by Karensac. “Hello, what’s your name?” » asks the artist, grabbing a pencil.

A few steps away, Oriana, a customer of the store assures her, “even if she moves, we will continue to come to this bookstore! » Anyway, Krazy Kat isn’t moving very far, even if some changes are on the agenda. First of all, the café disappears due to lack of space. “But we have a coffee maker, we will continue to offer them! » specifies Matthieu Saint-Denis, manager of the bookstore. Another new feature is that a room will be dedicated to screenings and signings and the store will be on one level, “therefore accessible to people with reduced mobility,” adds the manager.
