Cairo – Arab lovers were treated, Saturday evening in Cairo, to a high-quality concert hosted by the Moroccan musical group “crescendo” of Arab music, as part of the 32nd Music Festival Arab.

On the stage of the Cairo Opera, where the show focused on raw emotions and orchestral virtuosity, the “crescendo” group opened the ball of this concert by singing and enchanting the audience with a musical cocktail drawn from the rich Moroccan repertoire, in addition to countless hit hits including “Raksat Al Atlas” and “Marsoul El Hob”, among others.

This euphoric atmosphere went up a notch, when “crescendo” sublimated music lovers by performing with finesse Andalusian and Melhoune pieces, well rhythmic and punctuated with songs inspired by Moroccan musical heritage, notably “Chams Al-Achia” and “Berrakia ”.

Combining business with pleasure, the goldsmiths of the Moroccan musical group, led by Khalil Issoulane, brilliantly presented the various facets of oriental Arabic music, and knew how to keep the audience in suspense throughout the concert, where he sang famous hits with them, like “Amal hayati” by Oum Keltoum.

In a statement to MAP, Mr. Issoulane expressed the joy of his group at having celebrated a Moroccan evening at the Cairo Opera as part of the activities of the Arab Music Festival, able to promote music and Moroccan culture in Egypt, indicating that the group had carried out rehearsals which lasted a month and a half in the city of Casablanca, in order to best represent Morocco in this important Arab artistic event.

For her part, Houda Abu Al-Dahaj, president and founder of the Crescendo art and culture Association, underlined in a similar statement that this participation aims to highlight Moroccan heritage with a modern touch in order to bring the Egyptian public closer.

This edition, which is being held in Cairo from October 11 to 24, was marked by tributes paid to several artistic figures, including the Moroccan musician Fouad Zbadi, who gave two concerts on this occasion at the Cairo and Alexandria Operas.
