The Savoyard event will end this Sunday in Albertville after a weekend still rich in events and films presented.

The 23rd edition of the Grand Bivouac d’Albertville festival is coming to an end. This festival dedicated to documentary films and books ends this Sunday.

Highlight the wealth of the world

“Globalization can be the worst or the best thing for humanity. The worst, if it seeks to convey and impose a single model of thought and development, encouraging the power of some, the enslavement of others and the exhaustion of the planet. The best if it allows us to express the richness and diversity of the world, to confront approaches and problems in order to seek collective solutions. Each year, in October, the festival offers more than 150 events (documentary films, literary meetings and the Book Fair, conferences and debates, exhibitions, concerts, events) with an average attendance of 34,000 entries per edition.

A documentary about young people from Haut-Savoy

This will notably be an opportunity to present a documentary this Saturday evening, produced by the Passage association, based in and whose objective is to support young people, whatever their problems, in various projects. This film highlights the journey of 12 young Haut-Savoyards aged 16 to 20, from the districts of Seynod and Faverges, who, accompanied by their educators, were able to realize a common project: a solidarity trip to Senegal. This film entitled “From the pot to Africa” will be officially presented at 8:30 p.m. at the Jean Moulin high school in Albertville. This will be followed by an exchange with young people and educators from the association.
