Our gaming advice for the R4 in Enghien this Saturday, October 19

The meeting horse

113 – Staccato HL: This German competitor, trained by the formidable Wolfgang Nimczyk, returns to try his luck on our soil at the mounted trot after his eighth place in the team in an excellent field in 2023. Endowed with a lot of speed, he has just performed very well twice in his country and is traveling to Soisy with very high ambitions. Ridden by a talented apprentice and on a course which should serve his interests, this 6 year old son of Muscle Hill should run very well.

The attractive outsider

305 – Ideal Green : Even if he has only been a shadow of himself recently, this super horse who was already capable of trotting 1″10″6 on the speed course of the big track of finds an adversity which seems in its strings. His mentor recently let us know that his horse was gradually returning to a good level and his latest performance is encouraging, beware!

The driver to follow: Alexandre Abrivard

In ascending form since his return to competition after his serious road accident, the Sarthois driver could well achieve a very good meeting on the Soisy plateau with 5 cartridges.

He will begin his meeting by piloting Jess d’Hertals (212)a mare trained in Belgium who has just performed very well over the long distance at the Enghien racecourse. Without having a big margin, it seems to have a good card to play provided that it finds itself in the right cars. For his helmet, he will then pilot I Still Loving You (301). After almost 3 years of absence this colt who had won the Yearling Cup 2021 (Group III) now has three races in his legs and will present himself “DP” for the first time in his career at the age of 6. There is no doubt that he would be seriously behind in his gains if he regained his former level.

In the fourth event of the program, he will have a very first chance with Kismie Grip (408) a very good filly trained by Yannick Henry who has just returned to victory after having been sidelined from the slopes for 1 year. For family training, he will find the very promising Lord of the Basin (509) with which he won at Pontchâteau with him in June. It’s a comeback, but if he’s ready, he won’t go far. Finally, he will end his meeting by piloting Largo de Joudes (709) in a claim reserved for 3 year olds. This horse trained by Pierre-Louis Desaunette could strike hard for his debut in this category even if his situation behind the car is not enviable.

The coach to follow: Sébastien Guarato

At the dawn of the winter meeting, coach Normand, winner of 4 America Prize will have three starters this Saturday in Enghien.

In the fifth event of the program, he will present two interesting foals: Admiral Winner (502) et Lynx Griff (503). The first city, not seen since its victory at Cagnes-sur-Mer at the end of July, will be piloted by David Thomas for this school year, which encourages distrust regarding his candidacy. The second which will be piloted by the talented Romain Hue showed last time that he was not completely simple, but during his previous outings, he had also shown the means. There would be no surprises to find these two colts in the top five.

In the last race of the program, he will present one of the attractions of the meeting: Maestro River (802). Qualified in 1″16, this son of the late Gallius wearing the helmet of Gérard Manzi did not miss his debut at the Cordemais racecourse. He is taking a test here, if it proves conclusive, he should head to the great events reserved for his generation this winter in Vincennes.
