Mylène Farmer reveals if she will return to the stage

The singer gave a rare interview to Match. She talks about the cancellation of her concerts in 2023 and talks about her joy at having found her audience.

Mylène Farmer, whose voice is rare in the media, declared in the columns of the issue of Paris Match to be released Thursday that she didn’t know if she was going to return to the stage after her “Nevermore” tour.

“I have the love of the stage in me… now I am unable to answer you. I let desire guide my life”, she explains before adding that she was “a little sad” from the end of this tour.

During the last concert of her tour, on October 1, the singer left a message to her fans by displaying the word “More” on the main screen of the room at the end of her show. Enough to hope for a possible return of the singer on stage.

“An injustice”

Mylène Farmer gave the last three concerts of her “Nevermore” tour at the Stade de at the end of September. Originally scheduled for 2023, the concerts were canceled then postponed due to riots linked to the death of Nahel, 17 year old boy killed by a police officer after refusing to comply in .

“The cancellation of concerts at the Stade de France last year was a nightmare,” comments the singer in Paris Match. “I experienced it as an injustice.” She thanks the public for their support and patience.

“I will bury this sad memory to keep in mind only this reunion and the happiness of seeing my musicians, dancers, artists and technicians who give everything they can to ensure that the show is up to par,” rejoices -She.

“In my job, there is no experience more intense on an emotional level than sharing one’s emotions with such an immense audience. Huge in number, of course, but also in their heart and their loyalty,” says- she again.

Mylène Farmer did not indicate whether she was working on new songs. She currently seems to be devoting herself to cinema. She gave her voice to a new adaptation of Bambi. And will play an artificial intelligence in the film Dallowayin theaters in 2025.
