And to wonder about the title of Ali Abbasi’s film, The Apprenticetaken directly from his famous reality TV show on NBC.
“Do they even have the right to use that name without my consent? » he asks, knowing that his lawyers had warned that they intended to pursue the film in court – they had sent a letter to this effect to the Danish director and his screenwriter Gabriel Sherman.
