Dance: the Sunlight SBK festival returns in force to Montbeton

A year ago, Joachim Berthommieu and Charlène organized the first edition of the “Sunlight SBK dance with the stars festival” at the Jean Bourdette space in Montbeton (Tarn-et-Garonne). Given the success of this event, the second edition is scheduled for October 25 to 27, 2024, in the same location.

In 2023, more than 800 people were able to participate in dance classes led by stars, such as Christophe Licata, Coralie and Candice, in a show on Saturday evening and a social on Sunday late afternoon.

8 “international” stars

This year, our two dance enthusiasts have decided to think even bigger: there are no longer two “international” stars who will participate, but eight, accompanied by local dancers, Simone and Danila, Morenasso Crack, Charlie and Vero, Micka Marques, Ludo, Sam and Adé, Driss Si Belkacem, Daniel and Vanessa, Angelico Ricardo and two residents of Dancing with the Stars, Jordan Mouillerac and Calisson.

From two DJs in 2023, they increase to six in 2024, and from 13 volunteers in 2023, 25 for this new edition.

26 hours of lessons

In addition to the dances already on the program, salsa, bachata, kizomba, three new dances will appear: semba (Angola), then for ladies in lady style and heels, and for gentlemen in men style.
Twenty-two hours of classes were given in 2023, there will be 26 hours in 2024, including a Dancehall class on Sundays at 11:45 a.m. under the leadership of star Jordan Mouillerac. Of course, this festival is open to all dance enthusiasts; for those who do not know how to dance, beginner classes are offered in (salsa, bachata, kizomba and semba). For experienced dancers, intermediate and advanced classes are also provided to allow dancers to improve.

The big Saturday night show

The Saturday evening show, from 10:30 p.m. to 4 a.m., promises to be spectacular.
