Saint-Project. Exhibition and theater to raise awareness of the climate emergency

As part of the CCQB cultural project “From water from here to water from there”, Patrice Carpentier will be in Saint-Projet, Friday October 18 for the opening of the traveling exhibition “Écume, the lost world of Tethys and Damona. These works will be visible to all audiences until Thursday October 24.

The exhibition presents reproductions on tarpaulins of the original works of the painter who uses Nature as an inexhaustible source of inspiration, to which he has immense respect. Using the oil painting technique adapted to large formats, this exhibition aims to be a warning signal regarding the climate emergency and the vital aspect of water.

Also in Saint-Projet, the Aymare theater company will give a performance of the theatrical play “Ô mon Narcisse” at the third place Savy, Sunday October 20 at 4 p.m. The story: two web “stars” are on tour in rural areas. But their show is not going to go quite as planned… Their noise will wake up a strange “beast” sleeping nearby and provoke anger for which the two sidekicks will pay the price. But is this “beast” really just what it seems? Could it not be that it also has the power to change contemporary stupidity into timeless poetry?

This free adaptation of the ancient myth Narcissus and Echo, taken from Ovid’s “Metamorphoses”, is a family, iconoclastic, burlesque and poetic show.
