Oba Femi would like WWE to organize a PLE in Africa

In recent years, WWE has branched out and held PLEs in countries like Germany, Scotland, , Australia, Puerto Rico and Wales. These events were very well received by fans, with some even stating that these events hosted some of the best crowds in WWE history.

During an interview with Scott Johnson of the “Going Ringside” podcast, former North American Champion Oba Femi said he would like to see WWE hold a PLE in Africa, as he believes the market has been unexplored for years.

He declares:

“I would very much like a PLE to be organized in Africa. I think there’s a market there that hasn’t been explored in years. We have organized shows in South Africa, but the phenomenon goes far beyond this country. I feel like the entire continent is very supportive of WWE. Once we tap into that market, it will be amazing. It’s not going to be easy because there’s going to be culture shock and fear of the unknown and all these other factors, but once we weather this storm and hit that market, oh my God, I’m talking to you about one of the hottest crowds the company has ever seen. »

Will WWE one day organize a PLE on the African continent?
