The documentary collection “Wildlife” sets sail for the Lesser Antilles, October 22 on 5

As part of the “Coeur Outre-Mer” operation, on Tuesday October 22 from 9:05 p.m., 5 will program a new issue of the “La vie Sauvage” collection which, after two documentaries in Metropolitan France, is heading off to Les Petites Antilles (Date and Time Métropole, editor’s note), in a documentary film written and directed by Pascal Cardeilhac.

This new opus takes us from Ilet à Ramiers and Habitation Céron in , to the Ilets de Petite Terre in Guadeloupe and beyond the borders to the village of Massacre on the island of Dominica: 4 island territories which are not not just sublime travel destinations.

They are also places of memory, which carry within them a fundamental part of the history of France and the Antilles.

At the heart of the monuments they house, wild species, sometimes threatened (iguanas, tarantulas, birds of prey) seek to gain space in the face of human presence. A sharing of territory is then necessary, so that each actor in the living world can live in harmony.

“The wild life of monuments in the Lesser Antilles” can be discovered on October 22 from 9:05 p.m. on France 5.
