Costumes, video games, films and meetings with actors behind classic fictional characters; Quebec Comiccon, which takes place on October 12 and 13, represents a rare paradise for fantasy lovers.
The success of a good Comiccon depends, among other things, on the heart that the participants put into it. What would Quebec City look like without those arriving dressed as their favorite fantasy characters?
“That would be boring!” says without hesitation Jason Rockman, spokesperson, met at the dawn of the launch. “It brings color to the event. But, beyond the costumes, the participants really push themselves to adopt the personality of their characters. This is what is most beautiful to see and experience.”

Once again this year, the Cosplay meeting, with the flavors of the different worlds which have marked, or which still mark the imagination, promise to amaze you. We of course think of the timeless themes of Star Wars and of Star Trekbut also everything related to the worlds of Marvel and DC superheroes, as well as everything related to Disney and Pixar. All these outfits will be brought together in the form of a parade during the MasqueradeOctober 12.
Well-known voices will be there
There will be a great visit to the Convention Center, as Elizabeth Maxwell, the voice of Urbosa and Riju in the game The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wildas well as Jason Liebrecht, the voice of Champa in the series Dragon Ball Superwill notably be there.

Present during the meeting with the media, Elizabeth Maxwell says she is always excited to see if fans will arrive costumed as some of her characters.
“I love walking through crowds and surprising people dressed as my characters. People often recognize my voice, but not always my face!”
“Stand up loud and clear”
The arrival of the 10e edition of Quebec Comiccon comes at the right time with World Mental Health Day, celebrated on October 10, notes Jason Rockman.

“It’s not always easy for fans of disguises and fictional universes to stand up for themselves loud and clear. This is why Comiccon is so important, it gives them a place to be themselves and celebrate their passions without judgment,” he explains.
The 10e edition of Quebec Comiccon is presented on October 12 and 13, at the Convention Center.
