Chad Michael Murray as a sexy go-go boy in new Netflix Christmas movie

This year, Christmas promises to be warmer than ever with The Merry Gentlementhe new Netflix film available from November 20, 2024. Chad Michael Murray, who we know for his role in One Tree Hillthis time slips into the shoes of a go-go boy for a crazy festive comedy.

Alongside Britt Robertson, he plays Luke, a charismatic entrepreneur who finds himself on stage in a Christmas revue to save The Rhythm RoomAshley’s (Robertson) parents’ playhouse. This show, composed exclusively of male dancers, could well save the evening and spread the Christmas spirit in an unexpected way.

Directed by Peter Sullivan (Secret Obsession) and written by Marla Sokoloff (Sweet on You), The Merry Gentlemen promises a festive, sexy and humorous atmosphere. Murray, who had to spend hours in rehearsal to master his choreography, says: “It was a terrifying experience at first, but I loved the challenge.”

Britt Robertson, for her part, had fun watching the show without having to participate in the dancing: “This film is totally my Christmas style!” She was immediately drawn to the fun and bright scenario, reminiscent of her own Christmas celebrations in her native Los Angeles.

The film focuses on sexy choreography, festive costumes and a joyful atmosphere, while playing with traditional Christmas movie clichés. With fiery performances and a healthy dose of romance, The Merry Gentlemen stands out as an offbeat and refreshing Christmas romantic comedy.
