This stylist from Haute- will create two dresses for the Miss election

For the second year in a row, Johanna Pandraud, stylist from Haute-, was selected to make two dresses for the Miss competition.

Remember, during the last edition of Miss France, the know-how of Haute-Loire was largely highlighted thanks to the magical fingers of the stylist Johanna Pandraud, alias “Mademoiselle Dentelle Créations”, whose specialized boutique in the wedding dress, is located in the town of Saint-Geneys-près-Saint-Paulien.

Two dresses for two regions

Her dress on the theme of Piton de la Fournaise (see photo) was proudly worn by Mélanie Odules, Miss Réunion 2023, in front of millions of viewers on TF1. After having applied once again this year, the Altiligerian was selected by the committee to make not one, but two dresses this time for the next edition of Miss France, on December 14.

“I wanted to take on yet another new challenge with this competition and two of my sketches were selected: the one dedicated to Miss Auvergne on the theme of volcanoes and the one for Miss Rhône-Alpes which will deal with Saint-Étienne, the town where I was born.”

She now has seven weeks ahead of her to create the two dresses in her workshop in Bas-en-Basset.
Johanna Pandraud will now have to enter the concrete phase to move from drawing to material. No more wedding dresses for the weeks to come, the stylist intends to give her all to successfully complete her two creations, one of which will be more “in shades of blue, green and brown to recall the Auvergne volcanoes” and the the other in a darker color “exclusively in black with transparency effects for the industrial aspect of the mining town”.
Titled best apprentice in France in 2012 in the “ready-to-wear” specialty, the stylist has had her own creative company for almost five years.
If creating dresses for the country’s biggest beauty contest among thousands of applications represents the Holy Grail for this 32-year-old young woman, being able to work on her two heart regions was unexpected. “Everyone can apply, whether they are professional or not,” recalls the designer. There are a lot of people and a very high level. It’s a personal satisfaction, but it’s also a guarantee of quality for my clients who trust me.”
To admire Johanna’s original creations, come to the small screen for Miss France 2025, on December 14 on TF1.
