The Lisieux Bouge association organized the 4th edition of its festival Lisieux Wide Open from Friday October 4 to Sunday October 6, 2024. With atmosphere and people in the Mosaïc garden over the three days of festivities: “The public was there,” confirms Antoine Fantin.
For the first time, entry to the event was paid on Saturday and Sunday, but no reluctance on the part of visitors was felt, “all the rooms were full, people understand”, underlines the artistic director of the association.
The choice of Mosaïc and its garden allowed the representation of so-called small-format shows, with simple installations allowing the artists to be close to the public:
“We managed to make the place our own, like a sort of festive village. »
The volunteers received a lot of positive feedback from spectators and artists with whom they were able to share good times.
Mystery still for the next edition: “We start from the programming to decide where the festival will take place in Lisieux. » But for this year again, “the event is a success”, confides Antoine Fantin.
