Ill, Childish Gambino “needs time to heal” and cancels his tour

The 41-year-old rapper will not be able to perform around forty North American and European dates, including two concerts in , at the LDLC Arena in on October 31 and at the Accor Arena in on November 19.

After postponing certain dates of his tour New World in the United States last September for health reasons, Childish Gambino put an end to it. The rapper, ill, must undergo surgery, not allowing him to perform the concerts planned in particular in Europe, including a Parisian date on November 19 at the Accor Arena in Bercy and another in Lyon on October 31.

“I wouldn’t be able to complete the rest of the American tour in the allotted time”wrote the musician on X. “Right now I have surgery planned and need time to heal. My path to recovery is something I must face seriously”he added. Before announcing the end of the festivities: “We have made the difficult decision to cancel the remainder of the North American tour and the UK and European dates. Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase.”
