It is an essential group of French reggae. Danakil unveiled his latest album, Tomorrow maybe, Friday September 27, 2024. And while waiting for the start of the tour, the group unveils the pieces in an acoustic showcase this Friday October 4 in Bordeaux.
An album that “targets a wider audience”
To present the seventh album of the group founded 22 years ago, the showcase takes place at 6 p.m. at the Apollo. Tomorrow maybe was produced within Baco Studio, the studio created by Danakil in 2011 at La Victoire in Bordeaux.
This album targets a wider audience, with varied subjects on personal experiences or in relation to current events, particularly with songs Democracy is stammering released last June.
“The underlying message is absolutely positive, it invites us to keep our heads held high even in the difficult times, by putting failure into perspective and valuing the successes that humans encounter throughout their lives,” explains Balik.
On the occasion of the tour, Danakil will return to the Bordeaux metropolis on February 21 during a concert at Palmer’s Rock in Cenon.
Danakil is in showcase at 6 p.m. at the Apollo, this Friday October 4, 2024, in Bordeaux.
