Since 2020, the Odyssud room located in (Haute-Garonne), near Toulouse, has been closed to the public. First because of the health crisis, then because of a stage cage which was no longer up to standard.

However, the show is far from stopping. Last season, nearly 60 shows and more than 200 performances were scheduled.

50 shows and some 170 performances

With more than 50 shows and some 170 performances, Odyssud will once again offer, this season, a very rich “outside the walls” program.

The theater, music, dance, circus and humor shows, planned as part of the program, will therefore be performed in different towns in the metropolitan area: in Blagnac, Toulouse, Cornebarrieu and .

Headliners

The season, which began on September 28, includes varied shows and numerous headliners: Alain Souchon, Marianne James, Philippe Torretton.

“Our programming invites the most diverse disciplines and aesthetics. Our 24/7 “outside the walls” season offers more than 50 different shows in around ten partner venues. This is an opportunity to increase partnerships, an essential avenue of development at a time when culture is facing profound changes. This vast artistic and cultural panorama pays particular attention to innovations in the renewal of forms, unexpected artistic encounters, as well as the best companies in the region,” explains Odyssud.

The Luluberlu Festival en mai

Odyssud regulars, and others, will find the Luberlu Festivaldedicated to young audiences and families, from May 22 to 25, for the 17th edition.

Odyssud is not just about shows. As part of its partnership with the Toulouse academy, the room offers students and teachers various educational and cultural activities, specific school sessions and educational resources.

“Making culture accessible to all and from a young age remains one of our priority challenges. For this, Odyssud is innovating and, from this season, is offering a price dedicated to children under 11 years old to involve children in cultural practice as early as possible,” says a delighted Joseph Carlesthe mayor of Blagnac.

It is later, in 2026, that the large Odyssud hall could be reopened, after several months of work.
