Kate Middleton met a teenager doomed to cancer

After giving up her royal commitments for several months, Kate Middleton is slowly returning to her activities. On Wednesday, the Princess of Wales made her mark by spending a moment with a teenager suffering from incurable cancer. This strong and symbolic meeting is also the subject of the very first post on social networks showing William’s wife, since the announcement of the end of his chemotherapy. His first commitments since his return to work had, in fact, not been immortalized.

“It was a pleasure to meet Liz in Windsor today. A talented young photographer whose creativity and strength inspired us both. Thank you for sharing your photos and your story with us,” we can read under this moving photo, signed with the initials of the princely couple. The “Daily Mail” explains that the 16-year-old girl, from Yorkshire, suffers from aggressive tumors in her liver and ovaries, which leave her with a life expectancy of 6 months to 3 years.

Passionate about photography, Liz Hatton was invited to Windsor by Prince William and Princess Kate. The teenager, who traveled with her mother, stepfather and brother, was able to take photos of the couple and talk about her fight against the disease. “They are really kind, sincere and loving people. I am so happy that my family experienced this,” reacted the teenager, in a story published on her Instagram account.
