On Instagram, the Princess of Wales shared her admiration: “I had the pleasure of meeting Liz in Windsor today. A talented young photographer whose creativity and strength inspired us both. Thank you for sharing your photos and your story with us.” In the caption of these touching words, two photos illustrate the meeting, one of which shows the Princess of Wales tenderly hugging Liz in her arms.
The invitation, orchestrated by Prince William after hearing about Liz through a charity he supports, caused a sensation. It’s not only a touching visit, it’s also Kate’s first official public appearance since announcing the end of her chemotherapy in early September. She had already been photographed ten days ago while on her way to a church service.
