Kim Yarochevskaya, aka “Fanfreluche”, celebrates her 101st birthday

Actress and author Kim Yaroshevskaya, a true icon of Quebec television, celebrates her 101st birthday today.

The one who marked an entire generation by playing the doll Fanfreluchefrom 1968 to 1971 on the airwaves of Radio-Canada, celebrates its 101st candle on October 1st.

This series, which she created and scripted, first saw the light of day in the theater, before leaving its mark on homes with its tales and legends.

Remember that the actress was born in Russia on October 1, 1923 and immigrated to Quebec at the age of 10. On our TVs, we were also able to see her, in particular, as Grandmother in the youth show Pass-Partout (1977-1979), Olga Magaloff in the drama series Ent’Cadieux (1993-1999) and as Sister Magdalena in My Best Enemy (2001-2003). She has also acted in cinema and theater.
