On July 4, 2024, Luana Belmondo communicated about her separation from Paul Belmondo, ending 33 years of marriage. During an interview with “Paris Match”, the chef did not mince her words, accusing her ex-husband of having abandoned her and their children. She confided that since January 2, she had no direct news from her husband. “He just told the kids, ‘I need to take a break.’ For my part, I ended up exchanging a few messages with him which provided no answer to my questions, but confirmed his distance,” she declared.
Faced with these accusations, Paul Belmondo wanted to correct his version of the facts. According to him, he has never cut ties so brutally. “Contrary to his accusations, I did not abandon our family overnight without giving them any sign of life. We have continued to stay in touch and are currently trying to find an amicable solution,” he said, trying to ease tensions.

Despite the challenges, she wanted to thank the loved ones around her. “Thank you to all my friends, there are very few of them today. It’s better to have few friends. I have three children, I have my daughter-in-law, I have my grandson. I have a lot of testimonies of love around me, that’s incredible luck,” she continued. “Life can bring me to my knees. The other is still standing, ready to leave. The sprint is still there.”
