Lavaur. Automn’en Rire celebrates its tenth anniversary

The Automn’en Rire amateur theater festival in Giroussens is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. For this special edition, the festival will take place over two weekends in October and in two locations: the Salle de l’Atelier 81 in Lavaur and the Salle des Fêtes in Giroussens. This first weekend will begin on Friday, October 4 at 9 p.m. with Catinou and Jacouti: “La cosino de Marselha”, a play (in Occitan and French) adapted from texts by Charles Mouly, creator of the hilarious adventures of Catinou and Jacouti . Our two famous inhabitants of the village of Minjocèbos are accompanied by their respective friends Frasie and Julou. Laughter and atmosphere guaranteed with many unexpected and unpredictable twists and turns. Then, on Saturday October 5 at 4 p.m., discover “The Love of Three Oranges”. Near a fountain, a juggler tells the extraordinary story of Prince Joan. Having suffered the curse of an old witch, the brave prince must meet the mysterious love of the three oranges. Troupe: Chergui Theater. Then, at 9 p.m., a surprise Killing Théâtre, then “Where are the women”. The world is delighted to have eradicated, or almost, mosquitoes and flies… And now women suffer the same fate: they disappear. Where have they gone? Are they attacked by a feminavirus? That’s the question! And finally, on Sunday October 6 at 4 p.m., “Les Encumbrants”. Simone and Francis share a 2-piece cardboard sidewalk leaning against the oven wall of a bakery.
