Lady Gaga launches “Harlequin”, a surprise album inspired by her character from the film “Joker: Folie à Deux”

After having titillated her admirers for a few days, Lady Gaga comes to us with a new album inspired by her character from the film Joker: Folie à deux. Harlequin can be found on all platforms.

The opus of 13 rock and jazz songs, performed by the Mother Monster was “designed to accompany the experience of viewing the feature film” by Todd Phillips, writes the singer.

For the record, it is said that Lady Gaga was so immersed in her role as Harley Quinn (the Joker’s love interest played by actor Joaquin Phoenix), that she felt the need to go to the studio after filming to record this unreleased album.

We find in Harlequin an atmosphere similar to that of the two albums she released with the late Tony Bennett, Cheek to Cheek et Love for Sale.

The titles are almost all classics of the American repertoire such as Get Happy, That’s Life et That’s Entertainmentwith the exception of two original pieces by Lady Gaga, including Folie à deux.

In Instagram, photos glamour of Lady Gaga wearing her famous red wig are all nods to her character of Harley Quinn.

The music video for the song There’s Always A Jokerfilmed at the Louvre Museum in Paris, was unveiled by the singer two days ago to her 57.2 million subscribers.

Highly anticipated, the film recounting the meeting and the impossible love story between these two famous villains will be presented in cinemas from October 4.
