“Brass Dans la Garonne” Festival, it’s blowing strong for the brass bands in Toulouse!

Due to the strong wind that was blowing this Saturday, the 7th brass band festival “Brass Dans la Garonne” had to leave the Jardin des Plantes where the entertainment was planned. Direction the allées Jules-Guesde, the place du Salin and the banks of the Garonne.

Organized by the Fanfarnaüm collective, it brought together Toulouse brass bands and their counterparts from Ariège, Bordeaux, Nantes and even Paris. The event aims to reach out to audiences of all ages and sensibilities.

The name of these groups is already a whole program: Jaguars de Malibu, Chaos par UperCulte (CUC) or even the Trous Balourds with nevertheless one thing in common, the brass, the percussions and the good humor.

This Saturday afternoon, the theme of “travel diaries” included games, concerts and costume parades to discover the fantastic world of street bands from here and elsewhere!

Subject to favorable weather conditions, the festivities continue this Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., at or near the Jardin des Plantes. Free entry, refreshments and food on site.
