“Pink October”: plastic arts and theater in Cazaux-Savès

Like two years ago, on Saturday 21 September, the Cazaux-Savès town hall will take part in “Pink October”, the annual breast cancer awareness campaign. For the occasion, it has invited Claudine Cassagne who, at 2:30 pm, in the function room, will lead an art therapy workshop (registration required, €15). Claudine Cassagne, who has her workshop in La Ramondere (at 6, avenue du Maquis-de-Meilhan), teaches children in a fun and entertaining way to tame their emotions and listen to others using coloured pencils.

Then, at 8:30 p.m., the Samatan troupe Acte Deux will be on stage in the village hall with their play “Le Bourgeois gentilhomme” by Molière, directed by Isabelle Bedhet. We are familiar with the classics, notably Monsieur Jourdain, a well-off bourgeois in love with a marquise named Dorimène whom he wants to seduce by educating himself. Thanks to a few Turkish jokes, each protagonist will achieve their goals, except Mr. Jourdain who will not understand anything. We remember his naivety and we laugh at his expense (€10; reservations at 06.68.93.87.42).

Finally, on Sunday, September 22, at 9:30 a.m., an 8 km walk will start in front of the church (€5). All proceeds will be donated to the League Against Cancer.
