In an interview with the Parisianthe 19-year-old woman spoke about these first two titles and also took the opportunity to look back on her experience in the program presented by Nikos Aliagas. A show that her mother signed her up for and that she never “didn’t know” before participating.

The “Star Academy” an “exhausting” experience for Lénie

I didn’t know what this show was because I’m very young. It allowed me to be ultra spontaneous.”she confessed to our colleagues. Subsequently, Lénie returns to her complicated beginnings at the castle of Dammarie-les-Lys. Indeed, she recognizes that the experience was sometimes “exhausting”.

“Sometimes you don’t feel like “Being filmed is human”she says before mentioning the big moments of fatigue: “After the assessments, we feel tired, or in the evening on the bus while sleeping, we have the big camera with the flash coming on us… Or in the morning when we wake up drooling or with a messed up hair.”.

After speaking of the “intense pressure” felt at the Star AcademyLénie revealed that she was very afraid of the reaction of Internet users and viewers. “I felt like no one loved me”she admits, recalling that she did not have “never been named in 2 and a half months.”

“Childhood traumas” have resurfaced

And as soon as that happened, I had this fear that they weren’t going to vote for me. It brings back childhood traumas where I felt like the ugly duckling.”admits Lénie before admitting that he had taken his elimination very badly: “I had a big emotional shock for an hour”.

“I was a little lost to come out of my comfortable cocoon, with a little recreated family. Coming out is super hard mentally. The production, given my condition, didn’t ask me to come back on set. They were great.”also adds the youngest of the class.

Today, Lénie is very grateful to the production of the Star Academy, her former comrades, as well as all the fans who have supported her since her release. An “entourage” that allowed her to blossom for good and offer her first two titles this Wednesday, September 11, 2024.
