THE FIGARO SELECTION – It’s time to book for the new season’s plays. Created in Avignon or revived due to full houses, here is our selection of plays seen and approved.

Tear

The most beautiful dreams sometimes become waking nightmares. This is the subject of Tear. From the beginning, the viewer finds himself right in the Beliana haute couture house. Haute couture houses look like operating theatres. Aseptic places where people sew and resew relentlessly. The atmosphere is filled with fear and anxiety. The first sequence announces the end of the story: Marion (played by the masterful Maud Le Grévellec), the house’s head of the atelier, is on video with a doctor. She has just swallowed a box of anxiolytics.
