According to initial information, Jean-Baptiste Dessort would have been ejected from the electric car at the time of the accident, before the passenger compartment caught fire. After his death, the Libourne prosecutor’s office opened an investigation in “search for causes of death”. An autopsy and toxicological analyzes will be carried out on the victim. An expert will also examine the vehicle to try to determine if the accident could be linked to a mechanical problem.
