Slimane is targeted by complaints for sexual assault and harassment. In this context, the singer was heard last week by the judicial police in Saint-Etienne, according to police and judicial sources this Sunday.
The 35-year-old artist was heard on Monday under the police regime as part of a preliminary investigation opened in November in Saint-Etienne, said the city's prosecutor's office. This survey follows the filing of two complaints, in October and November, by technicians who worked on the artist's “Cupid Tour” tour. They relate to facts which would have taken place at the end of a concert in Zenith in Saint-Etienne, on December 17, 2023.
Messages, videos and assault
The first complainant claims to have received pornographic messages and videos from the singer, the second an assault in the presence of witnesses who filmed the scene, explained their lawyer Me Anne-Sophie Charrieras. The two men, who present themselves as “whistleblowers”, have already been interviewed and Slimane was the last protagonist to have to be heard within the framework of the preliminary investigation, the outcome of which is close, according to these sources.
